CCTV Captures Handicapped Rob with Gun

A video of a handicapped man who stormed a bank to rob it with his gang members, have surfaced on the internet.

In the video the man and his gang members entered into the mini-bank just like every other customer and pretended as if they were in the premises to transact.
The moment they stormed the bank premises, one of them stood at the door beside the guard, while waiting for the action by the handicapped man who appeared to be the leader.

The man initially took a seat and surveyed the environment before bringing out his gun to start the operation.
The moment he raised the gun, the other members took position and the man walked into the cashier unit with another gang member.

The entire action was captured by the CCTV camera in which the glaring face of the man was captured

MTN Receives NSE Approval For Listing On Premium Board

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc says it has gotten approval to list on the premium board of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The company said in a statement on Wednesday that the listing would be done on May 16 (today) by way of an introduction.

The value of the company would be N1.83tn after the listing of 20,354,513,050 shares at N90.

Akwa Ibom Governor Sacks Commissioner

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has relieved the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Sufficiency, Dr Uduak Udo-Inyang, of his duties.

According to a statement on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, the governor’s directive was with immediate effect.

Governor Emmanuel further directed the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Professor Nse Essien, to immediately take over the duties and functions of Dr Udo-Inyang.

He thanked the former commissioner for his service to the state and wished him good luck in his future endeavors.

Senate Approves Bill to Recognize June 12 As Democracy Day

The Senate on Thursday passed the Public Holiday Act Amendment Bill to recognise June 12 as the new Democracy Day.

The bill was passed almost one year after President Muhammadu Buhari announced that the date would replace May 29 for Nigerians to commemorate the return to the civilian government.

Asa Delights Fans With New Single After a Five-Year Break


After a five-year hiatus, Nigerian singer and songwriter, Asa, has released a new single.

She released the song titled ‘The Beginning’ on Tuesday, to the delight of fans who had long anticipated her comeback.

The song announces the start of a new musical chapter for Asa and with soft harmonies, the strength of emotions keep filtering through her voice.

She had earlier hinted that the song is an opening track off an upcoming album.

US Embassy Suspends ‘Dropbox’ Process For Visa Renewals In Nigeria

Effective at the close of business today, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, the U.S. Mission to Nigeria is indefinitely suspending interview waivers for renewals, otherwise known as the “Dropbox” process.

Visa applications will no longer be accepted by DHL in Nigeria. Those who have already submitted their passports via “Dropbox” to DHL for processing either at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the Consulate General in Lagos, will not be impacted by this change.

All applicants in Nigeria seeking a nonimmigrant visa to the United States must apply online, and will be required to appear in person at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or U.S. Consulate General in Lagos to submit their application for review.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly, the 43-year-old candidly opened up about her struggle.

Serena Williams made a winning return from injury beating Swedish qualifier Rebecca Petersen 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Italian Open clay-court tournament on Monday.

Williams, 37, has not played since a hard-fought three-set win over Petersen in the second round at the Miami Open in March before withdrawing with a knee injury.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner -- now ranked 11th -- also withdrew from Indian Wells in March complaining through illness comeback.

Watched by her husband Alexis Ohanian, Williams doubled faulted on her first match point but sealed victory on her second against her 58th-ranked opponent.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of a rising Nigerian musician, Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley and others in relation to alleged advanced fee fraud.

Acting Spokesman of the Commission, Mr Tony Orilade, made the confirmation to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday.

According to Orilade, he was arrested in Lagos in the early hours of Friday.

Divine Ikubor, Mavin Records’ newly signed teen artiste better known as Rema, has dubbed himself “the new king” of Nigerian music who is “here to take over”.

The gifted singer made the declaration while speaking to Goldmyne TV after his debut stage performance as a Mavin Records act at the 2019 edition of Homecoming festival which held in Lagos.

While announcing the release of his 2019 collaborative single with D’Prince dubbed ‘Lavida’, the newly signed singer and acclaimed Afrobeat star disclosed that he would soon be organizing his own music concert.

“More hit songs are coming. Me and D’Prince, ‘Lavida‘ is coming soon. My own concert is coming soon, it’s big and I’m going to shut it down. I’m here to take over, I’m the new king,” he said.

Kim Kardashian has reportedly helped free as many as 17 inmates by secretly funding a criminal justice campaign.

The reality TV star began her social justice bids by petitioning President Donald Trump over the release of Tennessee grandmother Alice Marie Johnson in June last year.

CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy has finally confirmed the exit of Tiwa Savage from the label which she joined 7 years ago with so many successes recorded.

She is the second artist to exit the label this year after Reekado Banks.

The speculations of her exit started early this with the singer going absent from social media. She, however, returned with things going smoothly until she deleted all her pictures from her Instagram page.

Fiona Onasanya KICKED OUT of Parliament by voters


Criminal former Labour MP Fiona Onasanya has become the first politician to be booted out of the Commons by voters using a recall petition.

Almost 20,000 people in Peterborough signed the petition to kick her out of the seat after less than two years.

It came after she was jailed in January for perverting the course of justice after lying to police over a speeding charge.

A spokeswoman for Peterborough Council, which ran the petition, said that it had been signed by 19,261 people, far above the 7,000 signatures required to get rid of her.
